The Uganda eVisa allows eligible travellers to apply for their Ugandan visa online before travelling. The application is completed through Uganda’s electronic immigration system, where you select the visa category, complete the form, upload documents, and submit the application. You will normally need a passport with at least six months’ validity, a recent passport-size photograph, and other documents depending on your travel purpose. After approval, you receive a Travel Authorization or Visa Approval Letter, which should be printed and presented with your passport when entering Uganda. It is a good idea to apply early rather than waiting until your flight date.
